These terms apply to the free course materials, assessments and certificates provided by Kalmár Dániel, sole trader (the provider, details in the Imprint) on the www.kdconsulting.hu website. By starting a course or submitting a final assessment, the participant accepts these conditions.
1. Subject of the service
The course materials available on the KD AI Academy pages, comprising lessons, guides and exercises, together with their final assessments, are available free of charge to anyone, without registration. Registration, meaning the provision of a name and email address, is required only when submitting the final assessment, for the purpose of issuing a certificate.
Because the service is free of charge, the provision of course materials, assessments and certificates does not constitute a contractual relationship in the conventional sense of a paid service.
2. Conditions for the assessment and the certificate
A certificate is issued on the condition that at least 80 percent of the assessment questions are answered correctly.
The certificate is issued in the name given at submission. It is the participant's responsibility to provide their name correctly and in the form they wish it to appear. Names cannot be changed afterwards, although a new certificate can be issued by retaking the assessment.
Every certificate receives a unique serial number, which anyone can verify on the certificate verification page.
The assessment may be retaken an unlimited number of times, including after an unsuccessful attempt.
Issuing the certificate is an automated process, carried out by the system on the basis of the submitted answers without human involvement.
3. Legal nature of the certificate
KD AI Academy certificates do not constitute a state recognised or officially accredited qualification, and do not replace diplomas or certificates obtained in the formal education system. The certificate attests solely that the participant completed the given course material and successfully passed the associated final assessment.
The participant alone is responsible for how the certificate is used, for example in a CV or on a LinkedIn profile. The operator accepts no liability if a third party such as an employer or client assesses the certificate differently from the participant's expectation.
4. Limitation of liability
The content of the course materials was prepared on the basis of the information available at the time of publication and the author's best knowledge. The operator aims for accuracy but accepts no liability for any inaccuracies or outdated information that may appear in the materials.
The operator endeavours to keep the website and the service continuously available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
The operator reserves the right to modify the content of the course materials, the assessment questions or the certificate format at any time without prior notice, or to discontinue a given course.
5. Intellectual property
The text and structure of the course materials, together with the accompanying illustrations, are protected by copyright. The content may be used freely for personal, individual learning, read and shared by link. Reproducing the whole or a substantial part of the content, using it for commercial purposes, or publishing it under another name is prohibited without the prior written consent of the operator.
Certain course materials, namely the AI Fluency Academy lessons, are Hungarian language adaptations of official Anthropic educational material. The original copyright belongs to Anthropic PBC. The adaptation is available free of charge for educational purposes and does not form part of any paid service.
6. Data processing
Detailed information on the processing of the name and email address provided when submitting an assessment, on retention periods and on data subject rights is set out in the Privacy Notice.
7. Complaints and disputes
Comments and complaints regarding the service can be sent to [email protected]. The response time is 5 working days.
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. In the event of a dispute the parties shall primarily seek a resolution through negotiation.
8. Amendment of these terms
The operator reserves the right to amend these terms unilaterally. An amendment takes effect upon publication on the website. The version in force is always available on this page.
